Horn Lake Caves – Guided tours are available to explore the cave systems or just go for a free walk around Horne Lake and through the forest. A couple small caves are accessible without a guide.
Snorkelling – The best ocean snorkeling and swimming in the area can be found at Brickyard Community park in Nanoose Bay.
Attractions
Englishman River Falls – Easy hiking trails along Englishman River. Stunning waterfalls and wildlife viewing.
Little Qualicum Falls – The most impressive waterfalls in the area and just a short hike from the parking area.
Rathtrevor Provincial Park – A beautiful oceanside provincial park featuring a huge beach and trails along the ocean and through the wooded campground.
Cameron Lake – A small beach with crystal clear water. No power boats allowed so great for swimming.
Family Fun
Little Qualicum Cheeseworks – Located next door! Artisan cheese and fresh milk are made and sold on site. Meet the cows, see the volunteer milking system and pet the other farm animals. Great family fun and excellent food.
Paradise Fun Park – Excellent mini-golf, bumper boats and an arcade.
Goats on Roof Farm Market – Food from around the world can be found in the market and numerous restaurants are available in this little pocket tourist community.

French Creek Trestle Bridge – From the Cottage, walk North on Lowry’s road and turn left down the railway tracks. After a short walk you’ll come to an amazing rail trestle bridge that can be crossed or follow the rough path down on the right to a secret walk along French Creek, bringing you to Miller Road.
Little Mountain – Drive to the top (follow Little Mountain Rd. from Bellevue Rd.) for amazing views or hike one of the numerous trails starting at the bottom of the mountain (park at the south end of Bellevue Rd.)
Top Bridge Park – Numerous excellent easy hiking trails along lower Englishman River. A suspension bridge over the rapids is a highlight. This huge park allows off-leash dogs so it’s a great place to bring the pups for exercise.
